Mr. Ashish Chandak

Mr. Ashish Chandak is Senior Investment Associate for the Fund. He has over 11 years of work experience across sectors with focus on Real Estate Advisory and Investments.

Starting his career in family business, he moved on to work as an Investment Banker with multiple boutique Investment Banks. He managed relationships with leading developers and advised them on project acquisitions, joint developments and fund raising. Ashish had cofounded Pecan REAMS which focused on retail real estate asset management for developers and HNI clients managing an AUM of over INR 2 billion.

At Indostar Capital, as Associate Vice President, he was part of investments team and led investment and asset management of over INR 15 billion. He was also responsible for resolution of stressed clients and managed exits in 4 transactions.

Ashish is a Graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, a Chartered Accountant and MBA from IBS Kolkata.

Adwait Kasbekar

Mr. Adwait Kasbekar is Senior Investment Associate for the Fund. He has over 9 years of work experience mostly in the field of real estate performing role of advisor, investor and development manager.

Adwait started his career as real estate advisor with Knight Frank. He has been advising real estate focused clients on project feasibility and development option study. He has incubated and grown RE focused Investment banking division in a growing domestic real estate advisory firm, HDFC Realty. Adwait has worked as Investment associate with USD 1.5bn India focused Real Estate Fund, where he was actively involved in deal making to active asset management. Adwait has played role of being EA to MD for a prominent Real Estate development company, K Raheja Corp.

Adwait is a BE (Civil) from Pune University, PG in Construction Management (Real Estate) from NICMAR and GMBA (Finance) from SP Jain School of Global Management.

Girish Sarwate

Mr. Girish Sarwate is an Investment Associate at the fund. He has around 4 years of work experience in the diverse fields of real estate spanning across corporate finance, fund raising, asset management and investments. In the Past, He has worked for various organizations such as Piramal Capital and Housing Finance Limited and Century Real Estate Holdings Pvt Ltd.

Girish has completed his Bachelors of Engineering in Civil from Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal and his Post Graduate Programme in Management from Indian School of Business (ISB).

Ms. Yashni Parikh

Ms. Yashni Parikh is an Investment Associate for the Fund. She joined the Investment Manager in April-20. She has total 5+ years of work experience in the real estate transactions and investments.

Yashni started her career with Ernst and Young in their transaction advisory practices wherein she was involved in conducting due diligence of various sectors including real estate Subsequently she worked as an Investment Associate in SBI Capital Markets on transactions covering Project Appraisals, Debt Syndication in the real estate sector. Before joining the fund, she was a part of Blacksoil Capital in the investment team for real estate

Yashni is a commerce graduate from Mumbai University, a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and has also pursued law.

Legal

Pooja Vora

Ms. Pooja Vora is the Legal Associate for the Fund. She has 7 years of experience in the legal field.

Pooja started her career as an associate in the Real Estate team at Wadia Ghandy & Co. and then joined the Dispute Resolution practice at Amarchand Mangaldas Suresh A. Shroff & Co. (which later became Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas).

Thereafter, Pooja opted for an in-house position in the Real Estate Advisory Practice at Edelweiss where she was one of the primary legal resources.

Pooja has completed her B.L.S. LLB. From Mumbai University in 2013.

Mr. Vineet Tejuja

Mr. Vineet Tejuja is Senior Associate for the Fund. He recently joined the Investment Manager in December 2019. He has more than 10 years of experience as an investment banker and advisor across sectors primarily focusing on the credit markets.

Vineet started his career with SBI Capital Markets Ltd in 2009 and has worked on transactions covering Project Appraisal, Debt Syndication, Restructuring, Stressed Assets Resolution and M&A across various sectors such as Steel, NBFC’s, Manufacturing, Hotels, Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate. He has been associated with raising credit facilities in excess of Rs. 15,000 Crore and resolving stressed assets with debt facilities in excess of Rs. 10,000 Crore.

Vineet is a BE (I.T) from Mumbai University and a MBA (Finance) from NMIMS.

Mr. Sandip Avhad

Mr. Sandip Avhad is a Senior Investment Associate for the Fund. Sandip has 11 years of experience in Mortgage Finance and Corporate Lending.

Prior to his current role, Sandip held number of senior roles across HFC’s such as Magma, Indiabulls, HDFC Ltd and ICICI Bank. He brings onboard a rich experience in Investment evaluation, debt syndication, structured lending, project appraisal, Asset management and Mortgage Finance. In his earlier roles, he managed multiple investments in RE assets such as residential, commercial and Malls spread across markets like MMR, Pune, Bangalore and Ahmedabad with total AUM of INR 13.5 Bn.

Sandip has a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering and Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies.

Mr. Varun Kedia

Mr. Varun Kedia is a Vice President, Investment at the fund. Varun has 10 years’ of experience, largely into Real Estate Investment Management.

Varun started his career in business consulting where he advised companies on investment decisions and structuring. Varun has been part of the Altico Investment team since the inception of the platform, where he handled the entire spectrum of Real Estate Investments – Deal evaluation, Transaction Structuring, Due Diligence, Documentation, Asset Management and Deal Exits.
At Altico Capital, as Associate Vice President, he handled investments and asset management totaling to $250 MM across various Real Estate projects at Major cities in India. He has handled investments, asset management and exits across multiple asset classes including Residential, Commercial and Affordable Housing Projects.

Varun is a Chartered Accountant and a MBA from SP Jain School of Global Management.

Mr. Shivam Joshi

Mr. Shivam Joshi is an Investment Analyst for the Fund. Shivam has over 2 years of work experience in the field of real estate with major focus on Investments, Asset Monitoring & Construction management.

Shivam started his career as an Investment Analyst with Piramal Capital & Housing Finance as part of real estate investment team, where he was involved in end-to-end deal evaluation, underwriting of real estate investment proposals, asset monitoring and investment down-selling. Prior to that Shivam has interned with firms like Cushman & Wakefield, Radius developers and Mayfair Housing.

Shivam is a B-Tech (Civil) & MBA from NMIMS

Neha Mittal

Mr. Vineet Chandak

Mr. Vineet Chandak is Vice President, Investments for the Fund. He has rich experience of 13 years into real estate across Investments, Equity Research and Investment Banking. Vineet has worked across reputed domestic and global institutions including J.P. Morgan, Apollo Global Management, IDFC Securities and Edelweiss Financial Services.

At J.P. Morgan, Vineet was part of the real estate investment banking team. At IDFC Securities, Vineet led the coverage on listed real estate space and successfully marketed IDFC led capital market transactions. At Apollo Global Management’s US$ 1.3 billion Asia Real Estate Fund, he was responsible for evaluation of new investments, active monitoring and successful exits from India portfolio (~US$ 450 million). At Edelweiss, Vineet led the setting up of asset management platform for the entire portfolio (US$1.5 billion across NBFC and Fund). He was also responsible for credit underwriting and stress accounts resolution.

Vineet is a Chartered Accountant and an MBA in finance from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneshwar.

Mr. Shreyas

Mr. Shreyas has over 9 years of work experience in Real Estate management across three organizations, DHFL, Tata Capital and Edelweiss. His last assignment was in Edelweiss to independently handle West region where he has handled more than 30 relationships. He has managed sourcing, deal structuring, portfolio management, due diligence and exits.

He is a BE from Mumbai University, MBA in Finance from NMIMS and has also cleared 3 levels of CFA, AIMR.

Mr. Mihir Gala

Mr. Mihir Gala is an Investment Associate for the Fund. Mihir has 4 years of experience largely into Real Estate Investment Management

Mihir started his career with in Investment evaluation, debt syndication, project appraisal, asset management for real estate transactions in MMR, Pune and Bangalore region with Indiabulls (Commercial Credit Team)

Thereafter, Mihir joined Capital India Finance Ltd as Senior Credit Manager for real estate funding in MMR, NCR, Pune and Bangalore region.

Mihir is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI and CFA Level II candidate, CFA Institute USA.

Amish Makwana

Mr. Amish Makwana is an Investment Associate for the SWAMIH Fund. He joined the Investment Manager in March 2021. Amish brings with him 5+ years of work experience in the real estate space.
Amish started his career with a boutique Investment Banking firm focusing on debt syndication, deal structuring and project appraisal for real estate transactions at PAN India level.
Subsequently, Amish has spent ~2 years with JLL India focusing on Capital Raising (Debt / Equity), Core Asset Transactions and Land Transactions (JV/JD/DM).
Amish is a Chartered Accountant and a Commerce graduate from H.R. College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He has also cleared 2 levels of CFA program conducted by CFA Institute, USA.

Ankit Goyal

Mr. Ankit Goyal is an Investment Associate for the Fund. He joined the Investment Manager in July 2018.

At the start of his career, Ankit worked as an audit executive at SR Batliboi &Co (Ernst & Young) and then joined the transaction advisory team of EY wherein he was involved in performing business and real estate valuation for various renowned private equity funds & Corporates.

Subsequently, he worked as an investment banking analyst in the real estate team of Brookfield Financial wherein he was actively involved in deal structuring and divestment.

Ankit is a commerce graduate from IGNOU and a rank holder Chartered Accountant from ICAI. He has also passed the Level 1 CFA exams conducted by the CFA Institute, USA.

Ms. Sharvari Kulkarni

Ms. Sharvari Kulkarni is Vice President, Investments for the fund. She has rich experience of 12 years in real estate ranging from investment management to business development and strategy.

Sharvari has worked with leading developers in India in Business Development, project acquisitions and fund raising roles and also contributed actively in business planning and development strategy for existing and new projects. Her earlier role has been with a large domestic RE fund managing investments in diverse asset classes like residential, commercial, bungalows, townships and SEZ projects.

Sharvari has done her BE from Govt. College of Engineering, Pune and MBA in Finance from SP Jain School of Global Management.

Mr. Ritesh Jha

Mr. Ritesh Jha is an Investment Analyst for the SWAMIH Fund. He recently joined the Investment Manager in January 2020. He has over 4 years of experience in managing construction projects and around 2 years of experience working in the Real Estate Investments.

n his prior role, he was working with Edelweiss in the Real Estate Financing Division covering entire deal cycle including relationship management, sourcing, analyzing and recommending investment proposals for deployment of funds in real estate sector pan-India and monitoring investment until exit. He was also part of the domestic opportunities fund.

Ritesh is a Civil engineering graduate and completed Post Graduation (Finance) from IIM Visakhapatnam.

Mr. Avinash Meena

Mr. Avinash Meena is an Investment Associate for the SWAMIH Fund. He recently joined the Investment Manager in January 2020. He has 5+ years of experience working in the Real Estate Investments.

In his prior role, he was working with Edelweiss in the Real Estate Financing Division covering entire deal cycle including relationship management, sourcing, analyzing and recommending investment proposals for deployment of funds in real estate sector across NCR & MMR region and monitoring investment until exit. He was also part of the Emerging Leader Program.

Avinash completed his graduation (EE) from IIT Bombay and Post Graduation (Finance) from IIM Calcutta and has also cleared CFA Level 1.

Mr. Prateek Grover

Mr. Prateek Grover is an Investment Analyst for the SWAMIH Fund. Prateek has over three years of experience in the field of Real Estate with focus on investments and asset monitoring.
He was working as an Investment Analyst with Piramal Capital and Housing Finance as a part of Real Estate Investment team prior to joining the Fund. At Piramal he was assisting the team with evaluation, analysis and underwriting of real estate proposals across MMR region. He was also involved in asset monitoring and investment down-selling.
Prateek is an Electronics engineering graduate and has completed Post Graduation from Goa Institute of Management.

Mr. Gaurav Sood

Mr. Gaurav Sood is a Senior Investment Associate for the Fund. He has over 7 years of rich experience in the field of investment banking and corporate finance primarily focusing on real estate investments and advisory.

Gaurav started his career with JP Morgan’s investment banking division focusing on real estate transactions in the US. Subsequently, he was part of the founding team of a boutique investment advisory firm that advised on transactions in real estate and hospitality in India. He later joined Lodha Group in their corporate finance division where he was responsible for raising debt and equity across various group projects.

Gaurav completed his graduation (Computers) from Delhi University and post graduation (Finance) from Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. He has also cleared all levels of the CFA exam.

Vinay Kedia

Mr. Vinay Kedia is a Senior Investment Associate for the fund. Vinay has close to 10 years’ of experience in Investments, Private Equity & Corporate Banking.
Vinay has previously worked with Brookfield Special Opportunities Fund, Essel – Private Equity, Deutsche Bank and Ernst & Young, where he has handled variety of assignments including large scale project financing, Investments (Sector agnostic & RE) and closely managed invested deals for exits and optimising returns. Vinay’s experience includes managing the entire Investments spectrum including – deal origination, investment evaluation, structuring, due-diligence, legal documents, asset management and exits.
Vinay is a Chartered Accountant (CA) and also cleared all 3 levels of CFA (US).

Mr. Pranay Jain

Mr. Pranay Jain is an Investment Associate for the SWAMIH Fund. He joined the Investment Manager in July 2020. Pranay brings with him 5+ years of work experience in the real estate space.

At the start of his career, Pranay worked as an article intern in the Corporate Tax Division of Ernst and Young and then joined Omkar Realtors and Developers Pvt Ltd as a corporate finance specialist with a focus on fund raising, feasibility analysis and cash flow management.

Subsequently, Pranay has spent ~2 years with IndoStar Capital Finance Ltd focusing on structured finance transactions in Real Estate, NBFC and Renewables.  He has exposure across the entire deal life cycle and has independently managed an AUM of INR 14 Bn.

Pranay is a Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a Law graduate from the University of Mumbai.
